Weapons in Minecraft are used to fight other players or to kill mobs in order to extract valuable resources. The more advanced your weapon, the better your chances of emerging victorious from a fight. By default, characters in the game use their own fists, but over time they can acquire an axe, bow, trident, crossbow or sword.
